Ms Nicola Turner

Hello, my name is Nicola Turner and I am the staff governor at Glenthorne Community Primary School. My role as staff governor involves representing the views and opinions of the staff and reporting school standards to the governing board. I was elected by the staff to represent them. 

I have worked at Glenthorne for 11 years and have been the Deputy Headteacher for 10. I currently teach Year 6 and feel passionately about supporting transition to high school. My roles in school include leading teaching and learning across the phases, leading Writing and supporting newly qualified teachers. I am also Assessment Lead and oversee the standards of pupils across all year groups.
