Mrs Gill

My name is Amanda Gill. I have been teaching since 1996 and have enjoyed teaching Nursery, Reception and Year 1 throughout my career. I have a degree in Primary Education specialising in Art and Technology.

I have three children Charlotte , Thomas and Harry. Two of my children have SEN, one is dyslexic and the other is autistic with an EHCP. I love to spend time with my family and going on holiday. 

My family loves animals and we have 2 dogs (a Springer Spaniel and a Dalmatian) 4 guinea pigs, 4 rabbits , 2 rats, 1 pygmy hedgehog, 1 hamster, 2 corn snakes, 2 leopard geckos, a bearded dragon and a chameleon.

One of the things I really like about Glenthorne is how helpful, friendly and caring everyone is. I have taught in the Nursery since joining Glenthorne and am looking forward to teaching Year1.

My favourite subject when I was at school was Technology especially electronics. 

If I wasn’t a teacher, I would be an electrician.
