Mrs Bates

My name is Vicki Bates, at Glenthorne I am a Family Support Worker and Forest School Leader.

I was born in and raised Smethwick and went to University in Nottingham.

I am very passionate about being outdoors and the positive impact that his has on mental health. I love my role as forest School Leader and am always looking for new ideas to try outside in the forest. I particularly enjoy watching the children grow in confidence and in so many other ways outdoors.

I have 2 boys, Jack and Will, who have both attended Glenthorne. When I'm not at school I'm busy with them playing or watching football. We enjoy going to watch Walsall Fc and Aston Villa.

I have 2 dogs, Archie and Louis, a Gecko called Lionel and Guinea pigs.

I love to holiday in Cornwall and Center Parcs.

I love the different opportunities that the children get here at Glenthorne, and the safe nurturing environment that the school provides.
